“Print and tradeshow work” is essentially “Customer engagement and communication.” Customer engagement and communication has been integral to everything I’ve done since 2008 when I was hired at a publishing company. I then moved on to product and brand marketing management and have demonstrated proficiency in virtually every type of print medium, including packaging design, magazine ads, company catalogs, brochures, brand books, tradeshow banners, t-shirts, hats, merch branding, and more. As well as all of the tactics, strategies, budgets, and feedback review associated with the marketing development.

“Web-based work” is essentially “New business development and customer service.” New business development and customer service has been a staple in my portfolio since 2013. This is when I started working at a small business where multiple new skills needed to be developed, including back-end NetSuite (and later WordPress) work to create new product webpages, photography, Photoshop editing, website banner creation, logo design, social media ads, and email marketing. This would then lead to expansions into Amazon and eBay, complete website redesigns, affiliate website advertising, and engagement tracking.

I started working in the video space (in a professional setting) in 2015. I had fallen in love with it in college but it is even more exciting now. The video landscape in general has changed so much in the last 15 years. Not just the technology at our fingertips but how people consume it. And now with AI investment, the video industry will likely continue to transform in the next 15 years. Effective advertisers absoultely will need to be a part of this channel for the most explosive growth in the future. I can’t wait for more opportunities to diversify and grow with it.
